Teen Fatally Shot In Middle Village, 1 Injured: Police

QUEENS — A teenager was fatally shot and another one injured in Middle Village over the weekend, police said.

Police received a report of the incident Sunday about 3:25 a.m., and responded to 79-45 Metropolitan Ave., near 80th Street, to find the 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso, the NYPD said.

EMS brought the unnamed teenager to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

A 21-year-old man was also taken to the hospital for his gunshot wound to the arm, and he was listed at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing, police said.
