U.S Open 2017: How To Get There, Tickets, Schedule And More

Here's what you need to know about getting tickets, getting to the tournament and more.

FLUSHING, QUEENS - Stalwarts like Venus Williams and rising stars such as Denis Shapovalov take to the courts on Monday for day one of the U.S. Open. Here's what you need to know about buying tickets, getting there and more.

Buying tickets

While tickets to individual matches went on sale in June, the U.S. Open's official website says you can still get admission to many of the matches that will be played until Sept. 10.

To get tickets, visit usopen.org, call 800-OPEN-TIX or trek to the physical box office at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Tickets for single matches start at $65 and cost as much as $1,000. A full pass, which lets you see every match and includes perks such as concierge service, starts at $2,125.

Getting there

The MTA recommends taking the Long Island Rail Road or 7 subway.

If you opt for the LIRR, you can take the Port Washington line to Mets-Willets Point Station, a short walk away from the tennis center. It's roughly a 20 minute ride from Penn Station.

Trains run roughly every half hour. Find the special schedule through Sept. 2 here. The schedule from then until Sept. 9 is here.

The 7 train also stops at Mets-Willets Point Station.
