UFO Sighting Over Queens Lights Up Online Debate: See The Videos

QUEENS, NY — The truth is out there over Queens — at least according to new UFO videos.

Two videos shared on Reddit in recent days show a bright light move through the night sky before fading out.

The user — whose screen name can't be reprinted on a family publication such as Patch — wrote they took the video Sunday in Bushwick facing "Northeast East," or Queens.

"It seemed like it was flaring lights of red and white. But I can't be sure," they wrote. "It then rather suddenly either turned north or seems to disappear entirely."

"I actually caught this happening at least 3 more times."

The Reddit user didn't return Patch's request for comment.

Many other Reddit users were unconvinced that the "UFO" or "weird lights" had anything other than a mundane explanation.

"Woah, an aircraft with a light within 5 miles of 2 major airports!" one posted.

"This is 100% a plane or helicopter flying into a cloud," another wrote.

"Those are drones," yet another chimed in.

Whether airplane, drone or alien spacecraft, the light is one of many reported unidentified objects seen flying over New York City.

The National UFO Reporting Center recorded nearly 30 sightings from city dwellers so far this year.
