Woman Pepper-Sprays, Pummels Back-To-Back Queens Bus Drivers: NYPD

An absolutely horrible bus passenger remains on the loose after she attacked two MTA drivers in as many hours, police said.

QUEENS, NY — An as-yet-unidentified woman proved to be two Queens bus drivers' worst nightmare, authorities said.

The woman pepper-sprayed and pummeled MTA drivers in back-to-back attacks Oct. 14 not even two hours apart, police said.

The first assault unfolded 6 a.m. on a 53-year-old man driving a Q25 bus, NYPD officials said.

As the driver pulled up to 127th Street and 20th Avenue in College Point, the woman pepper-sprayed him in the face and ran off, police said. He suffered minor injuries and medics took him to Booth Memorial Medical Center.

Another attack followed about 7:40 a.m., when the woman struck a 50-year-old man driving a Q65 bus in the face with a cellphone, authorities said.

She ran off the bus near 110th Street and 14th Avenue, officials said.

Police released photographs of the woman late Wednesday.
