Search For Answers After Riverhead Shooting: Police
Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Riverhead at the end of February.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Months after gunfire in Riverhead, police are searching for answers.
According to Riverhead Town police, the first-degree reckless endangerment incident took place on February 29 at about 2:35 a.m. on Grove Street and Oakland Drive South.
The incident was not reported to the police at the time, and witnesses have not come forward, authorities said.

"At this time, we do not believe anyone or anything was struck by the gunfire," police said.
