Woman Stole Another's Identity To Spend $2.6K At Best Buy: Police
She used the identity of a woman from upstate New York to open a credit line, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a woman who stole someone's identity to make purchases from the Riverhead Best Buy in January, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town police said the woman used personal information belonging to an upstate New York woman to open a credit line with Best Buy.
The woman used the credit line to purchase several electronics valued at about $2,650 from the store, located at 1440 Old Country Road, on January 16, police said.
