2 Charged In Weekend Home Burglary In Nassau

ELMONT, NY — Two men were arrested for burglarizing a home in Elmont over the weekend, police said.

Officers responded to the residence on Hoffman Avenue on Saturday at 11 a.m. Steeve Severe, 42, of Elmont, and Luis Ramos, 40, without a known address, were located in the home. They were arrested without incident, police said.

Ramos and Severe are charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief. Ramos also has a charge of possession of burglar tools, police said.

They were scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday.
