Amid Scorching Weather, 3 Oyster Bay Town Pools Start Season Early

OYSTER BAY, NY — With sizzling temperatures this week, the Town of Oyster Bay is giving residents a chance to get cool.

The town is opening three of its pools early for this season starting on Tuesday.

Residents can take advantage of the pools at Bethpage Community Park, Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park and Tappen Pool at Tappen Beach.

Opening on Saturday, June 28, as planned, are Marjorie Post Community Park Pool and Syosset-Woodbury Community Park Pool.

Pools will be open from 11-7 p.m., weather permitting. You can enjoy extended hours until 8 p.m. on Monday at Syosset-Woodbury, Tuesday at Plainview-Old Bethpage, Wednesday at Bethpage, Thursday at Marjorie Post and Friday all pools will remain open until 8.
