The expanded exhibit will continue to play a key role in attracting tourism and economic growth in Nassau County

As part of National Dino Day, The Center for Science (CSTL) is inviting the public to experience the unveiling of three new animatronic dinosaurs to its Dinosaurs! And Live Animals Exhibit including a Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus and Omeisaurus. The unveiling celebration will take place on Thursday, June 1st at 11:30 a.m. and will kick off Dino-weekend, a weekend of special events and activities at The Center for Science’s Dino exhibit including fossil discovery digs, dino arts and crafts and more.
“The celebration of our new dinosaurs will kick-off Dino Weekend, a weekend of special events and activities at The Center for Science’s Dino exhibit. We are always looking for new ways to expand the exhibit and provide families and children with intriguing and interactive displays,” said Dr. Ray Ann Havasy, Executive Director of The Center for Science.
CSTL’s Dinosaurs! and Animal Adventure gives visitors a unique and up-close-and-personal experience with representations of animals that roamed the Earth millions of years ago as well as their modern descendants. The exhibit features 20-ft. tall model dinosaur skeletons, animatronic dinosaurs, floor-to-ceiling hand-painted prehistoric dinosaur murals and an assortment of live wild animals demonstrating environmental adaptation.
