Donut Shop Owners Expand To Plainview With Grand Opening Event
The first and 100th customers in line at Saturday morning will receive one free dozen donuts per month for a year.

PLAINVIEW, NY — Duck Donuts is set for the grand opening of its Plainview location.
The shop, located in the Morton Village Plaza on Old Country Road, is owned and operated by Omar Athar and Sana Rafique, owners of the Duck Donuts shops in Garden City Park and East Meadow.
Some tasty ways to celebrate Saturday's grand opening at 8 a.m. The first and 100th customers in line will receive one free dozen donuts per month for a year.

Plus, the next 50 guests will receive a coupon for a free dozen, to be redeemed on a future visit.
Every guest who comes to the shop will receive a free cinnamon sugar donut.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our locally owned business by opening our third location in Plainview,” said Athar. “We cannot wait to serve the Plainview community smiles and warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts.”
The 1,500 square-foot retail shop reflects the franchise’s iconic beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with indoor seating. In addition to donuts, the Plainview location serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends, espresso beverages, along with donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, milkshakes and other menu items.
Athar and Rafique grew up in the Garden City Park area and lived in Nassau County for more than 20 years.
This location will be open seven days a week: Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
