Gillen Declares Victory In 4th Congressional Race
"I look forward to humbly serving every constituent of this district," Gillen said on Tuesday night.

ISLAND PARK, NY — Laura Gillen has declared victory against Anthony D'Esposito for Congress.
Gillen led the 4th Congressional District with 140,750 votes (48.2 percent), while the Republican incumbent notched 139,692 votes (47.8 percent), according to the Nassau County Board of Elections.
The BOE said 328 out of 583 Election districts were reporting, the BOE said.

"It's time to stop pointing fingers and start getting the work done," Gillen said on Tuesday night. "I look forward to humbly serving every constituent of this district."
The seat had been considered one of the vulnerable districts in the House.

The race was a rematch, as Gillen lost to D'Esposito in 2022 by fewer than 10,000 votes.
