Blind Brook BOE Signs Contract with Superintendent

The Blind Brook Board of Education signed a new contract with Mr. William J. Stark to serve as Superintendent of Schools from July 3, 2013 - July 2, 2017.  The agreement represents a long-term commitment to excellence in education in the District.

Under Mr. Stark's leadership, we will look to provide our students with a world class education in a safe, learning-conducive environment, and to maintain our commitment to fiscal responsibility to the community.  Having a strong administrative team in place, with several markers in 2012 district rankings of student achievement at # 1 in all of Westchester County, we look forward to more innovation, and achieving a number of additional, ambitious goals over the coming years.

As it relates to total compensation, the District expects to spend 15% less next year for the Superintendent than it does this year, translating into a $47.000 savings in next year's fiscal budget.
