Have you ever wondered what goes on over at Wainwright House on Milton Harbor in Rye?  Attend their 7^th Annual Healing Arts and Community Fair on Sunday, September 30^th from noon until 6:00pm to sample a little bit of everything they do. 

Learn from nationally known holistic healing experts.  Keynote speaker, visionary pioneer, author, and humanitarian, Marlise Karlin will speak about “Igniting the Power of Peace in You.”  Throughout the afternoon the following lectures will take place:

Many studies show how meditation not only relaxes you but also sharpens your mind.  Take some time for a quiet moment in the Meditation Garden or to walk the Labyrinth.  Also, Eileen Savage will be giving a Reiki Chakra Meditation Demonstration.

For a $50 fee Healing Arts practitioners will be available to provide a private session in:

Take a lunch break on scenic Milton Harbor with some all natural comfort cookin’ from Chef Johnson’s Food Truck.

Free children’s activities include Sculpture for Kids with Bret Reilly, Astrology for Kids with Joy Yascone, Seining in the Harbor with Marshlands Conservancy, Trash to Treasure Art with Jen’s Community at Wildcliff, face painting and more.

Representatives from local community organizations, such as the Rye Historical Society, Rye YMCA, Jen’s Community at Wildcliff and the Marshlands Conservancy will be on hand with helpful information.

The day will be capped off by a waterfront Earth Celebration with drumming led by Bear Walker and Susan Wright at 5:30.
