Blind Brook-Rye UFSD Budget Increases By 1.59 Percent

RYE, NY—The proposed 2017-18 budget for the Blind Brook-Rye Union Free School District includes an increase of 1.59 percent over current spending.

Total proposed spending for the school year is $43,915067. The proposed increase in the tax levy is 1.31 percent compared to the tax levy increase of 2 percent mandated by the state.

The school district will hold an informational hearing on the proposed budget on May 8. The vote on
the budget will be held on May 16.
