Books for Days: Watershed Literary Festival Returns to Rye
Hear from 30 Authors at 20 Events, Weekend of September 26 - 28

If you love to read, carve out some time at the end of September to attend Watershed Literary Festival, a 3-day book fest in southern Westchester.
From September 26th to 28th, Watershed will host a series of author talks, panel discussions, poetry readings, and writing workshops at the Meeting House on Milton Road in Rye, NY.
The 20-event line-up includes novelist and literary agent Betsy Lerner (Shred Sisters), Stu Zicherman (The Americans), Nicole Graev Lipson (Mothers & Other Fictional Characters), Rolling Stone journalist David Browne, and musician-memoirist Amy Rigby (Girl to Country), along with 26 other fiction and non-fiction writers.

Best if you pre-register online: www.watershedrye.com/events. There is a $20 suggested donation when you arrive at each event (cash or Venmo preferred). Proceeds benefit four not-for-profit orgs: Rye Free Reading Room, Rye Arts Center, Rye Historical Society, and Bird Homestead & Meeting House Conservancy.
Author signings are eagerly anticipated and will be arranged whenever possible; a limited number of books will be available for purchase.

The festival launch party, which is filling up fast, will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, 6 - 8:30 pm. Keynote speaker Annabel Monaghan (It's a Love Story) will welcome guests, followed by "Writes & Bites," a series of short readings by selected writers, all following a 'waterworks' theme. The suggested donation for this special evening is $40.
