Furthur Run Begins; Rye Town Park Commission; City, Town Meetings

Five things you need to know to start your week, April 15.

1.     Furthur at The Cap

Expect more traffic, or at least foot traffic, in Port Chester over the next two weeks. The Capitol Theater’s nine night Furthur run kicks off tonight. The Copacabana’s own concert series after-party will also run the same nine nights. Read more here.

2. Blind Brook BOE

There will be a public meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, April 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Faculty Room. It is expected that the Board will vote to go into executive session to discuss contract negotiations with the Blind Brook Federation of Teachers and proposed resolutions of litigation and will return to public session in the George C. Trautwein Theater at the Blind Brook Middle School/High School at 8:00 p.m.

3. Rye Town Park Commission

The RTP Commission will meet on Monday, April 15 at 6 p.m. in Town Hall.

 

4. Rye Town Council

The Rye Town Council will meet on Tuesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. in Town Hall. A group of local kids will give a presentation on resident satisfaction with their local government. Read more here.

The Rye City Council will meet on Wednesday, April 17 at 8 p.m. in City Hall.

THe Rye City School District BOE will meet on April 16 at 8 p.m. at Rye Middle School.
