An 11-year-old girl was reportedly hit by a motor vehicle on Boston Post Road and Central Avenue on May 18 around 4:15 p.m. The girl refused medical attention for an abrasion to her knee and lower leg and was not taken to the hospital, Rye Police Commissioner William Connors said. The girl’s mother was on the scene when police arrived. No charges were filed in the incident.
