Today is Labor Day, always celebrated the first Monday in September. Labor Day, celebrates the creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. From PCCFA: The Port Chester Council for the Arts is looking for professional visual artists who would like to be considered for participation in our upcoming art show,ART10573 on Saturday, October 12 at Crawford Park in Rye Brook. There are a limited number of spots, and artists should have a connection to Port Chester or Rye Brook—you live, work or volunteer in either village, or you have at some time in the past.
