Jason Bateman Film to Shoot in Rye Sunday
A Warner Brothers film will be shooting in downtown Rye June 16 and 23.

Warner Brothersβ adaptation of a book by Jonathan Tropper, βThis Is Where I Leave You,β will be shot in Rye this weekend. The stars of the movie are Jason Bateman, Tina Fey and Jane Fonda, although we do not have confirmation that they will be on the Rye set, according to Rye City Deputy Clerk Diane Moore.
The film crew of about 100 to 150 people will be in the Central Business District and on Theodore Fremd Avenue on Sunday, June 16. The production company will be parking vehicles in Car Park 4 on both sides of purchase Street and on both sides of Theodore Fremd Avenue between Central and Orchard Avenues.
They will also be filming on Sunday, June 23 on Mead Place and will be parking on both sides of Mead Place and Car Park 4. Rye police warn there will be some traffic detours during filming and parking may be congested. They suggest Rye residents plan accordingly.

The movie is about a man, played by Bateman, whose father dies but asks his dysfunctional family to fulfill his one last request- to spend seven days together under one roof, according to hollywoodreporter.com.
Shawn Levy is directing the film, according to the Hollywood site.Β
