• ‘Grateful' Nathan Sworn In as Rye Mayor, Ushering in New City Council (ryerecord.com) — Rye has a new mayor: Josh Nathan was ceremonially sworn in Sunday, along with three City Council members who pledged a “neighborhood focus” on flooding, sustainability, public safety, and quality of life. The inauguration highlighted Rye’s growing diversity, with Marion Anderson becoming the first Black councilmember and officials stressing collaboration across city, county, and state to protect the community’s future.
