The Rye Arts Center Plans Big Unveiling For Annual Open House

RYE, NY — The Rye Arts Center’s annual open house is almost here and this year's event will kick off a new semester of one-of-a-kind creative offerings.

Organizers say the upcoming Rye Arts Center Open House will be a true tribute to artistic expression, community engagement, and creative exploration. This community event is set to be jam-packed with activities, artistic showcases, and musical performances that appeal to all ages and artistic mediums.

Admission is free and all are encouraged to attend, explore the facilities, interact with instructors and artists and learn a little more about the center's unique mission.

The Rye Arts Center event will feature a concert by music instructors, interactive demos and workshops inspired by offerings at the center. An Artisan Boutique will feature local (and not so local) artists.

This year, the open house will also have direct access to Rye Recreation’s Food Truck Festival, which will take place on the same day.

The open house will also feature the unveiling of the new class lineup. Many new classes, for all ages, will be available this fall. Those who become members during the open house will receive a 25 percent discount on their first class.

The Rye Arts Center open house will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., at 51 Milton Road.
