Epstein said she is already impressed with how talented and capable Bradbury, Rosenberg and her fellow trustees are.Â
Jason Klein is also new to the council, although he has been very involved in public service since he moved back to the village in 2009. Klein grew up in Rye Brook. He holds a Masters in Public Administration and is currently the Curator of the Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. He is the President of the Board of the Federated Conservationists of Westchester County and an Overseer at Colby College.
Rednick, a Rye Brook native, was an incumbent and, now re-elected, will serve his second three-year term. Rosenberg appointed Rednick as Deputy Mayor on Tuesday night. Rednick has served on the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Village Traffic Commission and as the Village Prosecutor. Rednick has noted he wants to keep a close watch on airport expansion and wants to continue to work on the affordable housing settlement.
The elected officials were actually officially sworn on April 1 by Village Administrator Chris Bradbury so that the newly elected officials could get to work on the 2013-2014 budget. Tuesday night's event was just a ceremony for the public to attend.Â
