City Council Honors Rye Recreation All Star Basketball Team

Mayor Douglas French and the Rye City Council honored Rye Recreation’s 5th and 6th grade All Star Basketball Team for winning the Westchester County Basketball Tournament on March 18. The Rye boys defeated Rye Brook in the finals by 40-35.

The Rye Record covered the game last month and listed the boys on the team: Skylar Twyman, Parker Vanamee, Chad Antico, Troy Egan, John Neave, Matt McCarthy, Quinn Kelly, Jack Tartaglia, Sam Poole, Brian Latkany, and Cameron Coleman. The coaches were Rashidi Lewis, Rob Angilletta, and Josh Kirsch.
