Rye Eagle Scout wins 1st Place in Empire State Chapter competition.

Rye Troop 2 Eagle Scout Daniel Pellegrini has placed 1st in this years Empire State Society SAR Eagle Scout competition, for Westchester-Putnam counties. The competition is conducted in three phases: the local Chapter level, State Society level, and National level. Daniel has additionally placed second at the New York State level. “Typically a very strong competition, so quite an accomplishment.” SAR state chairman Tim Middlebrook ,said. Along with a monetary award , Daniel will receive the NSSAR Eagle Scout Chapter Medal and patch this spring at the Annual SAR Luncheon.
