23-Hour 'Star Wars' Movie Marathon Set For May 4th Weekend
It's the only one on Long Island. It kicks off May 3 with limited edition posters and badges, and themed food and signature cocktails.
HOLTSVILLE, NY — The "force" is always with many "Star Wars" fans, but even more so on the fourth, the annual celebration day that mark's the films' legendary catch phrase, "May the force be with you."
This year, Long Islanders will be able to celebrate all day on May 4th during a 23-hour movie marathon at Showcase Cinemas' Island 16: Cinema De Lux in Holtsville.
The theatre will be the only one on Long Island to host a marathon.

Marathon guests will enjoy a limited edition poster and keepsake badge, "Star Wars"-themed menu offerings, including signature cocktails, and 25 percent off food and beverage purchases throughout the marathon, excluding tax, gratuity, and alcohol.
There will be exclusive Starpass marathon tickets at $55 apiece.
