Sachem East student Chris Demairo recently won the "Best in Show" award at the Bay Area of the Fine Arts in Sayville.
He was presented with the Jacqueline C. Palmer Award for Best in Show for his piece titled '"Visceral." It consisted of a man and a woman in a laundry room, according to one person who attended the event.
