Brookhaven Collecting Food Donations For Veterans

Four drop-off locations in Farmingville, Blue Point, Coram, and Mt. Sinai will collect food until July 28. Find out how to donate.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Brookhaven Town's Veterans Food Drive is running through Friday, July 28, according to a news release.

It is sponsored by the town’s Division of Veterans Services in partnership with the Suffolk County's Veterans Services Agency, which together will work with local veterans’ organizations, donations of food will be distributed directly to veterans and their families.

The following town facilities will serve as drop-off sites:
▪ Brookhaven Town Hall, One Independence Hill, Farmingville
▪ Henrietta Acampora Recreation Center, 39 Montauk Highway, Blue Point
▪ Brookhaven Town Highway Department, 1140 Old Town Rd., Coram
▪ Rose Caracappa Senior Center, 739 Rte. 25A, Mount Sinai

Suggested food items are all non-perishables including canned soups, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, cereal, oatmeal, and rice.
