BROOKHAVEN TOWN, NY — Suffolk police officers were kept busy last week, according to the department's logs.
Here's a snapshot from March 3 to March 9:
FARMINGVILLE

A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with robbing a 7-11 store clerk in Farmingville last month, police said. Omar Alvadominguez, of Farmingville, pushed the clerk and stole beer and cigarettes from the store at around 2 a.m. on Feb. 23. He was charged with third-degree robbery, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He has not appeared in court yet, according to online court records.
HOLTSVILLE

A resident of a home on Warren Avenue in Medford reported finding their bedroom ransacked and some belongings removed at around 7:15 p.m. on March 4. Further details were not available.
LAKE RONKONKOMA
A resident from Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma reported that someone tried to scam them by calling and claiming to be from TD Bank and asking them to deposit a check on March 5. The crime has been classified as second-degree forgery.
MASTIC BEACH
A person reported that they placed an item on Facebook Marketplace and a couple that responded beat them at a location on Stanley Drive in Mastic Beach on March 3 at around 12:45 p.m. The person refused medical attention. No arrests have been made in the case.
MEDFORD
- Four rims and tires were removed from a vehicle at Hyandai 112 on Route 112 in Medford at around 10:15 a.m. on March 5.
- A 40-year-old man bolted from an officer during a traffic stop and was caught with crack cocaine on Sipp Avenue in Medford on March 4, police said. He was charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. He has not appeared in court yet, according to online court records.
PATCHOGUE
A female told officers she was shoved and then struck in the back of the head on a Suffolk County Transit Bus on Main Street in Patchogue at around 6 p.m. on March 4. It is not clear if she required medical attention. No arrests have been made.
RONKONKOMA
- A 49-year-old man was charged with public lewdness on March 8 at around 5:25 p.m. after police say he exposed and touched himself on Easton Street in Ronkonkoma.
- Someone broke into a home on Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma through a basement window and opened a spigot of water that caused a flood on March 3.
SHIRLEY
A 39-year-old man was caught with a Kung-fu star during a traffic stop on Starlight Drive in Shirley on March 4, police said. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on March 24, authorities said.
