Crash On Long Island Expressway Causes 2 Lane Closures
The left lane and HOV lane were blocked following the one-car crash.
RONKONKOMA, NY — Two lanes were closed on the Long Island Expressway near Ronkonkoma after a one-car crash Friday afternoon.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of 495 between exits 58 and 59 at 12:08 p.m., according to Suffolk Police. The left and HOV lanes were closed. All lanes have since re-opened.
