This Mugshot Is Proof You Shouldn't Mess With These Long Island Employees
BREAKING: The store manager, a woman, was the first to grab the robber's shotgun on Saturday night, police say.

Employees at a Long Island store wrestled down an armed robber and held him down until police arrived on Saturday night, police say.
According to authorities, Ronald J. Kelly, 45, of Holtsville, entered Island Thrift, located at 1770 Middle Country Road in Centereach, pointed a shotgun at the store manager and the five other store employees and demanded money at 8:25 p.m.
The manager, a woman, feared the situation was becoming dire and grabbed the shotgun, police say. Two other employees joined the struggle for the shotgun. They gained control and wrestled Kelly to the ground and held him there until police officers arrived, police say.
