The Junior Firefighter Challenge was something brand new this year and said to be a huge success.
Young children got to put on replica fire gear and perform several tasks similar to firefighters: hose carry, forcible entry, tunnel crawl, window escape, squirt a fire hose, firefighter rescue (Teddy Bear), and stop drop and roll.
Holbrook’s junior firefighters, led by Rob Avitable who supervised this event, loved it.
