Island Empanada Adds More Flavor to Arsenal

Your favorite empanada shop has added more treats to their flavorful arsenal over the last month.

Island Empanada, located in Lake Ronkonkoma, is now serving baked empanadas – but owner Roy Pelaez recommends calling ahead so they’re ready when you get there.

They’re also offering wings in three flavors: Buffalo, Spicy Asian and BBQ. It’s $8.99 for one dozen.

For March Madness, on Tuesdays you will receive one free empanada with every food purchase. This applies to one person per day.

If that’s not enough, mini empanadas are also available.
