Man Critically Injured in Suffolk Crash
The single-car crash occurred Sunday evening, police say.
FARMINGVILLE, NY – A 54-year-old man was critically injured in a crash in Farmingville Sunday evening, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, David Hoffman was driving a 2007 Mercedes 550 south on College Road near Lakeland Place when he lost control of the vehicle, overturned and crashed into a utility pole at about 6:30 p.m.
Hoffman, of Islandia, was transported by Farmingville Rescue ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital where he is in critical condition, police said.
