Man Killed In Suffolk House Fire

A 32-year-old man was killed in the fire early Monday.

HOLTSVILLE, NY – A man was killed in a house fire in Holtsville Monday morning, Suffolk police said.

Fifth Precinct officers responded to Pine Street at about 4:55 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a fire at a home.

Holtsville firefighters located and removed one adult male occupant and one dog from the house.

The home’s lone resident, Connor Frawley, 32, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The dog was taken to a local animal hospital. It's condition is unknown.

A preliminary investigation has determined the cause of the fire to be non-criminal in nature, police said.

The Holbrook Farmingville and Ronkonkoma helped battle the blaze.
