A $2,000 reward had been issued for information about the dog who was returned to Ronkonkoma family yesterday.
Ronkonkoma, NY — The Suffolk SPCA has released a statement that the missing Ronkonkoma dog Patch previously wrote about has been returned to her owners on Christmas Day. The SCPA issued a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone involved in the disappearance of the Shih Tzu who disappeared from a yard on Dec. 18.
The 11-year-old dog named Bella apparently was picked up by a delivery truck driver, according to the Suffolk SPCA. Detectives from the agency tracked down a lead leading to the return of the Shih Tzu late on Christmas Day. Investigation into the incident is still active.
