Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crashing Into Car On LI: Police

A man was hospitalized after crashing a motorcycle into a Honda Civic on Long Island over the weekend, Suffolk County police say.

LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Long Island on Sunday night, according to Suffolk County police.

Enes Hurol, 20, of Ronkonkoma, was operating a 2014 Triumph 999 motorcycle southbound on Lake Shore Road when he crashed into the front driver’s side of a southbound 2025 Honda Civic as it was turning left onto Lincoln Road around 9 p.m., police said.

Hurol was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries and the driver of the Honda, Marialena Psaltis, 27, of Ronkonkoma, was not injured, police said.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said.
