1. A man shot one man and injured another during a fight Friday inside a Brentwood house with children present. On Pineland Place a man shot another man in the wrist. (Subscription: Newsday)
2. An 85-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her son's ex-girlfriend in Deer Park on Thursday in her house. Marie Mille was killed on Smith Street by Shaquela Titley, 30, of Deer Park. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. A Centereach woman is helping other this Christmas with a pajama drive. Patricia Poggie was once 300 pounds but eventually lost 130 pounds and become involved in body building competitions. For the last 11 years, she's hosted the drive to lift spirits. (News 12)

• Two new COVID-19 state-run testing sites will open next this Wednesdays. One site is at IBEW Local 25 in Hauppauge. Sign-ups start Monday. (Subscription: Newsday)
• The second Patchogue Plunge will happen on Super Bowl Sunday, February 13th, 2022, with breakfast at Toast Coffeehouse in Patchogue. All proceeds go to the Gabby Petito Foundation.
