  1. A Long Island jury's guilty verdict made history against drug manufacturer Teva Pharmaceuticals USA and its partners that distribute opioids. The jury said the companies were guilty of fueling the addiction epidemic. (Patch)
  2. On Friday, minimum wage workers in Westchester, Suffolk, and Nassau counties making minimum wage started getting $15 per hour. New York City has been at that benchmark for three years. (Daily Voice)
