Sachem Phys Ed Teacher Recognized As ‘Amazing Person’
Amanda Stallone at Cayuga Elementary School was awarded at annual state conference.

SACHEM, NY — Amanda Stallone was recently recognized for her “amazing” work as an educator in the Sachem Central School District.
The physical education teacher at Cayuga Elementary School received the 2021 Amazing Person for the Technology Section of New York at the eighty-third annual New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Conference (NYSAHPERD) in November.
A Sachem alumnus, Stallone serves as the vice president of technology for the Suffolk Zone chapter of NYSAHPERD, according to sachemreport.com.
On receiving her award, Stallone took to Twitter to thank all her colleagues who she credits with her recognition as an ‘Amazing Person.”

Stallone has worked in her current position at Sachem Central School District since September 2019, prior to which she was a physical education teacher in the New York City Department of Education, according to her LinkedIn profile. She attended Stony Brook University and Dowling College.
