Teen Arrested After Stabbing Another Teen in Farmingville: Cops
A 16-year-old was seriously injured in the stabbing, which occurred during a fight Monday afternoon.
FARMINGVILLE, NY – A teen was seriously injured when he was stabbed during a fight in Farmingville Monday afternoon, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, three 16-year-old boys were involved in an altercation on Berkshire Drive at about 4 p.m. when one of the teens was stabbed. The victim, a Ronkonkoma resident, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, police said. There were no other injuries.
Sixth Squad detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy from Farmingville, whose name is not being released due to his age, and charged him with second degree assault and fourth degree criminal psssession of a weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Youth Court in Central Islip Tuesday.
