Virtual Seating Added To Brookhaven's Youth Mental Health Program

The six-hour program will introduce participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Virtual seating has been added to Brookhaven Town's Youth Mental Health First Aid Workshop after an overwhelming registration response.

The in-person Jan. 18 event's registration has been closed due to the response.
To accommodate those who still want to attend, a live virtual workshop will now be offered the same day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It is designed for adults, including teachers, school staff, coaches, youth group leaders, parents, and others who regularly interact with adolescents. The six-hour program will introduce participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents.
