- Suffolk Police arrested an employee of the AT Shangrila Spa on West Jericho Turnpike under charges of prostitution. The arrest was made after an investigation due to community complaints. (TBR News Media)
- The Hoyt Farm in Commack was the stage for Saturday's End Of Summer Country Music Concert. Nathan Dean and the Damn Band performed live for a large crowd that filled the site to celebrate good music and farewell for the season. Visit the link I've shared to check some scenes of the event. (Patch)
- The town of Smithtown is hosting a blood drive in September! The event is scheduled on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the Eugene Cannataro Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donors will enjoy a free extra-large sandwich or premium salad at McDonald's when purchasing a meal. (Smithtown Gov.)
