Suffolk police arrested Michael Tarduno, Jr. of Setauket who allegedly killed a Stony Brook University student in a hit-and-run accident while driving under the influence of drugs on Thursday night in Stony Brook.

Hauppauge

Suffolk County police reported that Robert Savoia, 31, of Hauppauge, held up a shopper at knife point in the BJ's shopping center in Islandia.

Savoia was arrested Nov. 7 on two felonies first-degree robbery using a dangerous instrument charges, a third-degree criminal weapon possession with a prior conviction charge, and possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

Mt. Sinai

– Suffolk Police arrested and charged Kevin Daly, 22, of Coram, on DWI charges after he drove his Saturn into a patrol car in Mount Sinai early Thursday morning.
