Accompsett Science Olympiad Team Places Fourth in Regionals

The Science Olympiad Team at Accompsett Middle School took fourth place at the Eastern Long Island Regional Competition.

With the fourth place finish, Accompsett will now move on to compete in the New York State Science Olympiad Competition April 20-21 at SUNY Ulster.

The team took fourth place out of 35 participating teams at the competition, which took place at Candlewood Middle School in Dix Hills. The middle school took home medals in eight categories: Anatomy, Compute This, Crime Busters, Disease Detectives, Experimental Design, Microbe Mission, Road Scholar, and Write It Do It.
