Here are the top four stories in Smithtown today:
- Comiskey Park in St. James is the place to go on Aug. 5 to support the Stony Brook Cancer Center while enjoying live music, games, food, and other outdoor attractions! All proceeds of the festival will go towards the center and patients who are under breast cancer treatment. The fun for a good cause starts at noon and goes through 1o p.m. featuring plenty of entertainment for the community. That's a pet-friendly event as well. - The Smithtown Chamber of Commerce hosts its 9th Annual 5K Run & Dog Walk this weekend! The event will be held at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford on Friday, July 29. More information can be found here. (Smithtown Chamber of Commerce)
- Long Beach Concert Series is set to rock the neighborhood on this warm Friday! Take a break from the heat to listen to the best hits of the HooDoo Loungers on Friday, July 28, at Long Beach at 7 p.m. The band is well known for mixing classics with New Orleans Jazz. - Nearby Events: The String Quartet will perform classic tunes at the Presbyterian Church in Setauket on Friday, July 28.
