Brittany’s Baskets of Hope, Inc. is dedicated to bringing information, support, guidance, and hope to families that are expecting or have newly welcomed a baby with Down syndrome into their lives. 2. With the Smithtown theater up for sale, a nonprofit looks to save it. The idea is not only to save Smithtown’s 90-year-old theater building, which is now up for sale, but the live entertainment and youth programs dependent on it.
