Chikn-Fixn Opens In Smithtown, Bringing Unorthodox Breading
People can either keep it traditional or try chicken fingers with various breading: Lucky Charms, Doritos, or Captain Crunch to name a few.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Chikn-Fixn recently opened in Smithtown, offering tender aficionados the chance to try chicken with unorthodox breading.
The business, at 60 Terry Road, will coat chicken fingers in Captain Crunch cereal, Lucky Charms, Doritos, Takis, Frosted Flakes, Ruffle potato chips, or more. Regular or buttermilk breadcrumbs are also available for chicken finger purists.
Chikn-Fixn also offers fries, sides, macaroni and cheese, burritos, salads, ice cream, desserts and more. The signature item, "The Mother Clucker," sees a base of fries heaped with macaroni and cheese topped with chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks smothered in "Cluck Sauce."

Everything is made in-house at Chikn-Fixn, which the eatery said separates it from others.

The store can be reached at 631-533-7600, and its hours are 4 p.m. to midnight Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday; noon to 1 a.m. Saturday; and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. It is closed on Tuesdays.
