Crimes Nearby: DWI, Massage Therapy Practice Without a License

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests between July 17 and July 26:
Kings Park
Michael Grusel, 26, of Kings Park was arrested July 17 in Kings Park and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana. Reports state Grusel was arrested for the alleged possession of marijuana in a municipal parking lot located in Kings Park at approximately 8:35 p.m. Reports also indicate he allegedly struggled with police when officers arrived.
Commack
Russell Schaefer, 28, of Mount Sinai was arrested July 28 and charged with DWI. Schaefer was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Jericho Turnpike near Commack Road at about 9:52 p.m. when he struck a Second Precinct patrol car, Suffolk police said. The police officer, whose named was not released, was treated for minor injuries at Huntington Hospital.

Hauppauge
David Sedacca, 22, of Carmel, N.Y. was arrested in Nesconset July 25 at 2:30 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated. Police said Sedacca was driving a 2007 Honda westbound on Smithtown Boulevard when he went through a red light and crashed into a pickup truck.

Scott Perino, 29, of Patchogue, was arrested in Hauppauge July 24 at 2:44 a.m. on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said officers saw Perino wandering aimlessly outside The Bagel Gallery. When police approached Perino and asked for his identification, he took out a rolled marijuana cigarette. Perino was arrested on the spot and was also found to be intoxicated, according to police.
Adelino Santiago, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Hauppauge July 22 at 9:27 a.m. on charges of assault. Police said Santiago entered an a basement apartment and began hitting the apartment’s resident in the head, face and ribs. The man was bruised on his face and eyes. Police said they do not know if the injured man was hospitalized.
Three Village
A seventeen-year-old boy from Lake Grove was arrested July 26 in Stony Brook and charged with second degree criminal contempt. Reports indicate the youth allegedly violated an order of protection and pulled a phone jack from a wall.
Port Jefferson
Luo Lingli, 40, of Flushing was arrested July 20 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with unauthorized practice of profession. Lingli was arrested for the alleged practice of massage therapy without a license.Â
Calvin Johnson, 22, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested July 23 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with assault. Johnson was arrested for allegedly injuring another man with a knife in the chest and rib area. Johnson was reported to have allegedly hit two other males in the head. The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Lincoln Ave.
Northport
A man suspected of six bank robberies was arrested by Suffolk County police Friday.
Michael Walsh, 58, of East Elmhurst, Queens was charged with two counts of first degree robbery. He is suspected in bank robberies in Suffolk, Nassau and upstate, including one in Northport and another in East Northport.
Christopher Cipoletti, 26, of East Northport, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with third degree robbery and fourth degree attempted grand larceny.
Police say Cipoletti jumped into the passenger side of a car at the  drive thru ATM, located at 271 Larkfield Road in East Northport. The bandit claimed he had a gun before making off on foot with cash from a woman who was withdrawing money.
Cipoletti was also implicated in an unsuccessful robbery attempt on the same day of a man making a withdrawal from the ATM at  at 385 Larkfield Road.
