- Ryan Schlossberg made it to the next level, earning the rank of Eagle Scout due to his efforts in making the community a better place to live. Legislator Robert Trotta, who represents Smithtown in the 13th Legislative District, congratulated Schlossberg. (LongIsland.com)
- Smithtown resident Elizabeth Ostrove is the new chief financial officer at the King Kullen's Grocery Co. Her nomination was granted after a King Kullen board of directors meeting, where she earned the most votes to take the position. (Smithtown Matters)
