East, West Students to Attend Leadership Seminar

One East and one West student were selected to attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar, a seminar for high school sophomores who have demonstrated exceptional leadership ability and participated in community service.

Amanda Stoerback of East and Megan Sexton of West were the two students selected by the schools to attend the seminar, a seminar that features attendees from throughout the country as well as Canada, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan and Israel.

Programs at the seminar aim to give students leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences to become leaders in the home, schools, workplace and community.
